Crochet at Landleven Winter Fair
maandag 21 december 2015
The Netherlands are not a very big country and we don't have that many open air museums. But the Netherlands Openair Museum in Arnhem is the most famous one. It's huge, and on it you can find actual historical buildings thet were built throughout the Netherlands since the beginning of times. It's beautiful. Yet, I had never been there. No idea why. So when Scheepjes asked me to be part of a huge winter fair and give crochet workshops in this grand museum, I said yes without even giving it a second thought. I mean... more than 100 stalls with handmade presents, food, crafts, apple cider. That sounds as good as a German Christmas market, well... as close as it gets!

Quick visit to the Leuven Christmas market
zaterdag 19 december 2015
Alright, just one more worktrip before the end of the year. And I only went along because I would be visiting Leuven, and I had never been to Leuven. I was very curious about this town as it is supposed to be the prettiest one in The Flanders. Now, I always claim to know the Flanders quite well, growing up basically on the boarder, so I really wanted to see for myself.

A creative (christmas!) guide to Hannover
donderdag 10 december 2015
I really have to say: the Germans know how to do a proper Christmas market. I LOVE Christmas markets in Germany. There, it's out in the open. Last year I visited Cologne, the year before that Constance and now it was time to visit Hannover for work, of course, to check out the Christmas markets and all the nice highlights. But I just happened to stumble across some pretty nice yarn shops too. Sounds like an amazing combo, or so I think.
