Wat is het stil hier hè, deze week. Geen tassen, geen gehaakte dekens. Ik weet het! Ik zat namelijk gisteren de hele dag in Amsterdam. Ja, zo kom je er nooit en zo kom je er elke week. Dat is trouwens helemaal geen straf.
It's a bit quiet here, I know. No bags, no crochet blankets. I know! I was in Amsterdam yesterday. Yes, sometimes I don't go there for years and now it's the 2nd time this month. Not that I mind it at all.
Ik ben namelijk weer in de schoolbanken gekropen. Dat is wel even gek, na 10 jaar. Maar het is me goed bevallen. En de lokatie is ook niet gek. Vlakbij het Museumplein in Amsterdam.
Reason I was back in Amsterdam: I am back at school! It's a bit crazy after 10 years, but ut all went very well. And I love the location too: in the centre of Amsterdam near all the museums and the central concert building.
Om de hoek van het Rijksmuseum zit de organisatie waar ik de komende weken in de schoolbanken zit. Maar goed dat de Hogeschool voor Journalistiek in Tilburg op zo'n ontzettend oninspirerende plek zat, want anders had ik mijn diploma nooit gehaald! (Met die sneeuw mag het van mij trouwens wel afgelopen zijn, mensen wat een kou!)
Around the corner from the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum (where Rembrandts Night Watch resides) is the organisation where I will be schooled the next couple of weeks. I could do worse right? It's a good thing that the college I went to when I was stilla student was in a much less interesting place, as I probably would never be able to concentrate on studying! Oh, and I am so over snow and cold. Brr.
