Reversible tote bag

I guess you already noticed: I have a bag addiction (alright alright, one of my many addictions I confess). I have a ridiculous amount of bags at home and now that me and the sewingmachine are friends I also love making bags!

Telkens een stapje verder. Dus nu: een omkeerbare tas.
Every time I make a bag, I take it a step further. So here it is: a reversible tote bag!

I made the reversible tote bag from a Laura Ashley fabric that I picked up at the thrift shop a few months ago. How lucky is that! And you know what makes me even more lucky? The fact that these two bags were a custom order by someone from South-Korea! I just can't believe that someone from South-Korea will be using one of my bags.

~I hope they'll love the bags, just as much as I love making them!~

Honeymoon

... and the Give Away winner!

On our way to Utrecht City Hall
(There were 20 people behind us, I swear!)

We just got back from our honeymoon to Rome! And oh my... if you ever get to honeymoon, go to Rome! For us it was a big surprise as we didn't arrange something. My parents, sis and brother in law planned the whole thing. They got us free from work and everything!

So two days after we got married, we flew to Rome. What a fantastic experience and what a city of miracles! Ancient temples, tons and tons of art work by the greatest artists that have ever lived and wonderful food. Even though Rome is HUGE, you don't feel that at all as the streets and squares are small and friendly.

Needless to say: we had a fantastic time! We landed yesterday, but I really have to say that my feet still haven't touched the ground since we got married last week. I am not the goo-ey type and am not even a real girly girl (I always wanted to go to the Tour de France instead of getting married, haha!) but I have to say: it's a mind blowing experience!

Did I make your eyes roll? Maybe even gag a little? I can't blame you, haha!
I'd be the same... so, lets do something fun for you guys and announce the winner of the Give Away!!

The winner of the Goodbye Summer Give Away is...

By Ieke!!

Congratulations hon! E-mail me your address and the goosdies will be coming your way!!

~Hope you all have a good weekend!~

La vita e bella

The last few days have been a rollercoaster of emotions! Because last Friday, me and my love....

~Got Married!!~

We had a really small wedding in Utrecht, with just 20 guests. The most important people that we love to bits. It was intimate and relaxt, just like we had hoped.

We had not planned a honeymoon, as we are saving up to go travelling again next year to a far and pretty place.

But... my parents, sis and her bf had different plans with us. So tomorrow, we are leaving for ROME on our honeymoon. For a week!!

Picture: La Dolce Vita at the Trevi Founain in Rome!

Needless to say we are completely shocked, baffled and moved to tears! Yesterday and today have been all about getting Rome guidebooks, making reservations to see Vatican City, The Borguese Museum and the Colosseum... and packing our bags!

I guess I will be seeing you again in a week :-) Who knew!

If you still want to enter my Goodbye Summer Give Away (with FABULOUS Croatian goodies!), please enter!! I was planning to announce the winner on the 15th but apparently I'll be eating gelato then ;-) So I'll announce the winner of the Give Away the 17th op Sept.

Ciao!!
